For me, this book is Slow Beauty by Shel Pink. This isn’t just your average beauty book. It has everything from how to make your beauty routine more meaningful and goals to set yourself to recipes for quick meals and muddled water. Even when I read this entire thing front to back, I will be coming back to it constantly. That’s how you know it’s good.

LA Yoga - Slow Beauty 101 by Shel Pink

My relationship with Slow Beauty came through my own practice. About eight years ago while I was going through the motions of checking multiple emails, voicemails, and social media accounts, I realized that the world had changed forever.

To a certain extent, the changes are positive. We are becoming more connected (virtually), and the exchange of information is easier than ever.
